On my Travels

During my working days, I sometimes see something that I want to photograph, and try to remember where it was at a later date.

On occasions, I can't do that as it has to be done, there and then.

On Monday, while on my travels I spotted this Red Tailed Kite, and had to get some shots before he cleared off.

Not my best shots I admit, but they made me happy.

Then later, when I was walking our dog, I spotted a couple of Green Woodpeckers on the ground, and managed to get a couple of half decent shots.

I think I was more pleased at actually getting these shots, as I had never been lucky to get close enough for a picture before.

So I now want more photos of these elusive birds, as they are so beautiful.
