Our Feathered Friends

For years I have been fascinated with birds. From a Sparrow to an Eagle, they never cease to amaze me.

Birds of prey are my favourite, without a doubt, and whenever I see one, I can't resist taking a photo. They are so Regal, and this particular owl was just stunning.

This shot below, is of an owl called Angus , who I met on a day out at Hawkwise Falconry.

Barn owl and Grey Owl below. I really need to brush up on owls as I adore them, and always looking for them.

Sometimes I get lucky, and this is a perfect case of just being in the right place at the right time. Not so lucky for the sparrow, but I have to respect the laws of nature.

Luckily I only live a few yards from Daventry Country Park, and I'm always on the look out for the birds that inhabit this oasis. Below are some shots taken this year.
