Daventry Arts Festival Part 1.

I have just finished processing the photos, that I took over the last 3 days at the Arts Festival in Daventry.

Over the weekend, I took some time out, to shoot some of the live music that was being played by local bands and musicians. For me, it was a great experience, and it was good to see so many people turn up to support the event.

Pete the Hat and Benson the Hair organised the whole event, without any financial support from the council. To think that these 2 guys, organised this, with a team of volunteers, was only just short of being miraculous. A big thankyou to you guys. Also, I should mention Caseys, as the staff were brilliant, and the beer didn't run out.

The only down side was all the rain, but that wasn't a problem. A few gazebos and a bit of manpower, was all that was required to keep most people dry.

Unfortunately, I couldn't be there all the time, and I probably missed some great performances, but when I could be there, I was making sure to get some photos.

On Friday night I saw the last 2 bands. Attention Citizens, and Tone Deaf and the doors are locked.

Now I'm no music critic, but I do know that these two bands were a great end to the first night, and everyone was really enjoying their music. Here are some photos of Attention Citizens.

The last band on, were Tone Deaf and the doors are locked. Again, everyone was enjoying the show, and didn't want it to end. Here are some photos.

That's it for today. Tomorrow I'll be posting up day 2.

Cheers
